We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Assistant Professor in Business Analytics to join our MBA department in Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for teaching MBA students and delivering industry-oriented analytical and data-driven management education.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach MBA students in areas such as:
  • Business Analytics
  • Data Analytics for Management
  • Business Statistics
  • Predictive Analytics
  • Data Visualization
  • Excel for Analytics
  • Operations & Decision Analytics
  • Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Basics
  • Financial Analytics
• Prepare lesson plans, case studies, assignments, presentations, and assessments.
• Conduct practical and application-based classroom sessions.
• Mentor students for projects, internships, and research work.
• Participate in seminars, FDPs, workshops, and institutional activities.
• Support curriculum development, accreditation work, and departmental initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria

• MBA/PGDM in Business Analytics / Finance / Operations / Data Analytics or related specialization.
• B.Tech/BE with MBA Business Analytics candidates may also apply.
• NET/SET/PhD preferred as per AICTE/UGC norms.
• Prior teaching or industry experience in analytics/domain will be preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Business Analytics concepts and tools.
• Hands-on exposure to Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, or related analytics tools preferred.
• Good analytical, mentoring, and classroom management abilities.
• Research-oriented mindset with practical teaching approach.
