Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager – SAP Business One (B1) to manage the complete SAP B1 landscape, including system maintenance, daily operations, implementation, upgrades, and optimization. The ideal candidate will ensure high system availability, drive continuous improvements, support business-critical operations, and align SAP B1 with organizational processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Business One Maintenance & Support

  • Perform regular system maintenance, patches, upgrades, and health checks.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.
  • Administer user roles, authorizations, and license management.
  • Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, security, and compliance with organizational standards.

2. SAP B1 Operations Management

  • Monitor and support day-to-day SAP B1 operations across Finance, Inventory, Sales, Procurement, and Production.
  • Optimize SAP HANA/MS SQL database performance and system efficiency.
  • Provide L2/L3 technical support and resolve user issues within defined SLAs.
  • Maintain and monitor integrations with third-party applications such as CRM, eCommerce platforms, banking systems, and other enterprise solutions.

3. SAP B1 Implementation & Enhancement

  • Lead end-to-end SAP Business One implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects.
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Manage data migration, UAT, cutover activities, and post go-live support.
  • Execute version upgrades and system enhancements while minimizing business disruption.

4. Team & Vendor Management

  • Train end-users and IT teams on SAP B1 functionality and best practices.
  • Coordinate with SAP partners, consultants, developers, and external vendors.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, system uptime, and service performance.
  • Ensure timely project delivery and continuous operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 7–12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on SAP Business One administration and implementation.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Business One, SAP HANA, and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in SAP B1 implementation, upgrades, customization, and system integration.
  • Knowledge of backup strategies, disaster recovery, security, and ERP governance.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution, or eCommerce environments.
  • Exposure to SAP B1 SDK, DI API, Service Layer, Crystal Reports, Boyum, or B1UP.
  • Knowledge of cloud deployments (AWS/Azure) and ERP integration tools.
  • SAP Business One certification will be an added advantage.
