About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Head of Department (HOD) – MBA to lead and supervise the overall functioning of the MBA Department. The candidate will be responsible for academic leadership, faculty management, curriculum planning, student development, and departmental growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the overall academic and administrative activities of the MBA Department.
• Manage faculty members, teaching schedules, and departmental operations.
• Ensure quality delivery of MBA programs as per university/AICTE guidelines.
• Develop and implement academic strategies, curriculum planning, and outcome-based education.
• Monitor student performance, mentoring activities, placements, and industry engagement.
• Organize seminars, workshops, FDPs, industrial visits, and academic events.
• Coordinate accreditation processes such as NAAC, NBA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Promote research, publications, and industry-academia collaboration.
• Build corporate connections for internships, guest lectures, and placement support.
• Maintain departmental documentation, reports, and compliance activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• MBA/PGDM with specialization from a recognized institution.
• PhD preferred as per AICTE/UGC norms.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/academic administration in Management Studies.
• Prior experience as HOD/Academic Coordinator/Program Head will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
