Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager with strong end-to-end SAP Business One (SAP B1) expertise to manage the maintenance, daily operations, support, and implementation of our SAP B1 ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, optimizing performance, managing upgrades and implementations, and aligning SAP B1 with business processes. The role will also involve coordinating with internal teams, SAP consultants, developers, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

SAP B1 Maintenance & Support

  • Perform regular SAP B1 system maintenance, patches, updates, and health checks.
  • Troubleshoot system errors, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
  • Manage user roles, access permissions, and SAP B1 license allocation.
  • Ensure reliable backup, disaster recovery, and system security processes.
  • Maintain appropriate compliance and data-security practices.

SAP B1 Operations Management

  • Monitor daily SAP B1 operations across Finance, Inventory, Sales, Procurement, and other business functions.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance across SAP HANA and MS SQL environments.
  • Provide L2/L3 support and resolve issues raised by end users.
  • Monitor and maintain integrations with third-party applications such as eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, banking solutions, and other business applications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and business workflows.

SAP B1 Implementation & Upgrades

  • Lead and manage new SAP Business One implementations across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Analyze business processes and translate business requirements into SAP B1 solutions.
  • Manage system configuration, customization, data migration, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Plan and execute SAP B1 version upgrades with minimal business disruption.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams throughout implementation projects.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Train and guide end users and IT teams on SAP B1 best practices.
  • Manage SAP B1 consultants, developers, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
  • Define and monitor SLAs and KPIs for SAP B1 performance, support, and system availability.
  • Ensure high system availability and target 99.5%+ uptime.
  • Manage vendor performance, escalations, and service delivery.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1).
  • End-to-end understanding of SAP B1 maintenance, operations, support, implementation, and upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HANA and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with SAP B1 integrations and third-party applications.
  • Strong understanding of business processes such as Finance, Inventory, Sales, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Experience in data migration, system testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support.
  • Strong project management, vendor management, and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions.
