Position: Traffic Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive, experienced, and result-oriented Traffic Executive to join our Kolkata operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in transport/logistics operations, vehicle sourcing, transporter coordination, and load placement. The candidate should be capable of managing multiple operational activities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring timely and efficient vehicle deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and arrange suitable vehicles such as Dala Body, Trailers, Containers, and other commercial vehicles as per daily load requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, fleet owners, transporters, and vehicle vendors.
• Coordinate the end-to-end process of daily load placement, from vehicle sourcing to deployment.
• Conduct and manage daily bidding activities and ensure effective operational planning.
• Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely reporting and delivery as per operational requirements.
• Identify and resolve on-ground operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Coordinate with customers, transporters, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of transportation activities.
• Track vehicle availability and maintain an updated database of transporters and vehicle owners.
• Negotiate with transporters and fleet owners to ensure competitive market rates and optimum vehicle availability.
• Achieve assigned monthly operational targets and contribute to overall business performance.
• Maintain proper records of vehicle placements, rates, transporter details, and daily operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
• Prior experience in Transport / Logistics / Fleet Operations / Transportation Operations is mandatory.
• Experience in vehicle sourcing, load placement, transporter handling, or traffic operations will be preferred.
• Should have a good network/understanding of brokers, fleet owners, and transporters.
• Must be comfortable with coordination-heavy and operational responsibilities.
• Should be willing to take ownership of daily targets and operational deliverables.

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
• Additional Incentives: Performance-based incentives linked to achievement of assigned monthly targets.
• Rewards and incentives for consistent performance and target achievement.
